"How did it get so late so soon?
It's night before it's afternoon.
December is here before it's June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?"
My mom found this, and posted it on her facebook. How true.
Now, mind you as much as I dislike winter, and the long days of Jan. & Feb; as much as I am and looking forward to spring; and happy to see the end of Feb I have to agree with the above.
Now, my whine for the day is "I HATE daylight savings time" and I was reminded it's only a week till it change. NOOOOOoooooooo!

Finland-Sweden trip is a link to my journal blog I kept during my trip there. Farm sweet Farm is pictures of the house, ect that we spent 2 1/2 years in-our first taste of "country living" during our married years. (And are just leaving) This is a work in progress for my scrapbook.
House to Home page is the picture journal of making our "new" house in the West part of the state into our home (On-going current)

oh-oh. here's where we part ways. i'll enjoy my mondays with you. but i won't change my mind on daylight saving time. i LOVE it!!! why not you?
ReplyDeleteI don't mind DLS in the summertime when the sun is up early and bright... but I am not looking forward to the start of it, either. It's wayyy too early now. I hate it that the kids have to get on the bus in the dark, and soon it will be even darker. Start it the beginning of May and end it the end of September and I'm good. Too bad I wasn't on that committee! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree! Daylight time starts too early. Next week when we get in the morning, it will feel like the middle of the night still! The silver lining is that my hubby and I will have more time after he gets home from work to go bike riding!
ReplyDeleteAnd added to my "down-side list" here, is the fact that my hubby goes to work at 3p.m. (till 11p.m.) which means that he's gone & I have to try & keep track of kids in a way too long evening on my own. (did I say uggg??!)
ReplyDeletei don't like it either..i'm all messed up now..i was just trying to get up early..and i now i have to get up earlier! i completely agree with ya!!
