This is my middle boy. The other day he was just 2, running around getting in to everything he could find. Running outside down the asphalt street in his white socks *AGAIN.* The one who refused to cry if he got a spanking, and the only way I could punish him was to sit him up on a high bar stool in the middle of the floor & he couldn't get down. Today he came over to see what we were doing, and it seems like everytime I see him, I do a double take. How and when did you get so tall. So grown up. Just the other day you were my baby, and now you're a head taller than me! I love you Ryan, and am so proud of you!

  4. awe...almost made me cry as I AM in that 2 year old stage and I can't stand the thought of it being over. Well, most days I can't...and SOME days I feel like it can't get here quick enough. Except not really. Funny how our sons can wield a little place in our hearts that no one else can.

  20. Very nice tribute to your son. Both of my boys outgrow me too. One is 5' 11". The other is 6' 2". I stand all of 5'2"! My oldest son was born March 10th. I'm working on getting a post up for his 32nd birthday.
