Not to be outdone by her sister, Kara made an apron for her first sewing project. It ended up quite complicated for a little beginner, but she was quite persistent, and stuck with it, ripping seams out several times to re-do them.
Since the kids are going to be at my mom's this week while I'm gone, I don't see any problem with keeping them occupied.....? both girls should have a new wardrobe by the time I get back, don't you think?!

Alice in Wonderland Musical Production

The middle school swing choir put on Alice in Wonderland. This is Meshayla's first time on-stage experience. They did a great job!

Kaela's been intrigued with the idea of sewing for some time now, so Grandma decided she might as well learn how! Here's the project she started out on. (pattern pinned & cut out by herself first!) G'ma taught her to thread the machine too!

Easter weekend 10 out of our 12 kids were all home! Here's me with 7 out of 9 of my girls. We missed you Jana and Laura!!

Our "lucky if it's once a year" picture with our darling grandkids! A while back Dalayna had posted this on her blog, and when I was shopping with my sister I found it in the store I was at! What's a grammie suppose to do, but buy it?!! I fell in love with a dress for Kyrie at the same store, so I was so happy that the kids were going to be home over Easter weekend so I could give the girls their dresses. It was a bit more difficult to find Trey an outfit, what's the deal with that? I found nothing that day shopping, and we looked all over town later here for one. Finally at the last minute we found this one on e-bay, won the auction & had them ship it express.
This grammie was quite pleased--$$ well spent!!

These are my two youngest grandkids, 2 yrs old, just 3 weeks apart in age. Laura sent these outfits for them from Finland so they would get here this last weekend & get pictures in them when they were together.

Sorry about the quality of these pictures. I also had a difficult time getting the color right, so included the paint samples. They don't even look great on my monitor--hopefully better on yours! Some of the walls look blueish in the pictures, they are green.
The living room is done, although I still need to finish up curtians/blinds. The bedroom is done but we are still working in the bathroom. Now I need new carpet.....

Oh yes, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
