Entertaining themselves

While Kara prefers to stay inside by the fireplace where it's warm, reading,

Kaela takes her dog outside to play,

And Meshayla takes my camera to take pictures of them.
One of our friends is home from school for vacation, and so this morning we got to have her and her guide dog in meeting with us. Eldora had her winter boots on, so Kaela had to find some doll boots for her dog.....

  1. Hmm, Kara and I should get along pretty well...every once in a while, I'll venture outside, but I much prefer to stay inside by the fire and read books. I've been told I was born with a book in my hand...lol

  2. That fire looks so inviting. Its a toss up for me. First I'd play outside and then come in for a warm up by the fire. I bet it was neat to have a dog in mtg. My oldest has a good friend who is autistic, he got a dog this sumnmer. The dog comes to school once in a while but it is allowed to come every day.

  3. What a cute doggie! I had to enlarge the photos to see is it real or stuffed...it really looks life-like in some of the poses! :)

  6. I did a double take too with her walking her dog in the snow. It looked real, but after I enlarged it and saw the zipper I figured it out. How cute that she had to have boots too. Is that like a doggie purse or do they put their Pj's in there? Very cute!

  7. It's a purse. If you look close you can see the other buckel on the back that can be used so the "leash" is a handle! Kara & Kaela each got one from their Aunt for their birthdays this last summer, and Kaela's especially is a constant companion. Sometimes she "feeds" it by putting "food" in the zipper pocket!!
