Funny things........

Oh, many, many years ago
when I was just a girl
I was at convention preps
where I met another friend.
She was married to the man,
who worked there at the ranch,
they had a little boy and
soon there would be two.
The years passed swiftly by,
and the family now had three,
little boys with saucy grins,
days were really pretty wild.

My life was changed as well,
I was married now with ten,
four teen girls were in our house
and things were going well.
The teasing grinning little boys
had grown up to be young men,
when all too soon the day came round
That one began to call.
