  2. That's all?! We get to do our annual salsa day next weekend. It's kind of hard to get real excited about it!

  3. AAHEMM LORI....I couldn't even begin to compete with your tomatoe patch!
Actually this is only the first picking, Leon informed me there was about 1000 pounds of green ones out there yet....I got all the ripest ones ready for the canner & will do them early in the a.m. while it's cool out, the rest of them, about 1/3 will probably be ready by tomorrow night, but were still a little yellow yet. Besides, come on, give me a break...I'm making programs & sewing dresses this week too!
(If any of you want to see why she said "that's All?" go take a look at her blog under salsa making!!)

  4. Good luck with the tomatoes. I love doing tomatoes, but when I do them I usually buy from the Amish. My vegetable garden if fresh eating only.

  5. Question: What's a 1000 tomatoes to a super woman with a wedding around the the corner? Answer: It's a piece of cake./ You amaze me. I hope that your husband appreciates the work horse that he married!

  6. Sorry Mom, that's one activity I'm glad I don't have to help with now that I'm not at home!!! I'd gladly help with the corn but not tomatoes!!!
    Good luck anyway!

  7. LOL! That's o.k. Nish...I'd rather do tomatoes any day!! Maybe I could just send the corn that will be ready this weekend out to you??!!

  8. Haha, that's funny nish. I'll trade you the corn for the tomatos anytime.

  9. LOL! The corn would sit here and rot this week, that is unless you all want "corn" wedding cake! Somehow I'm not thinking that would be a big hit!

  10. Do you ever sit down? I get exhausted just reading all of the things that you are currently juggling! You are truly a SUPERWoman!

  11. @ Jeanette~~ Yeah, I blog...LOL!!
    Believe me, I'm NOT super-woman! I'm "JUST" a stay-at-home-mom...LOL!!!
Maybe I should do a post on all those things I DON'T do!! :*)

  12. It's fun reading the comments from your daughters! :) And it does look like a lot of work compared to my three little tomato plants. Tomatoes are a luxury item in some places this year... enjoy!

  13. Wow mom wish I was doing that instead of all the phone calls I was making. I don't mind the tomatoes, corn or even the beans. I think it would be the cherrys that I would quickly get tirred of and that is the only thing we have in our yard this year. I don't think they will be ripe though before it freezes which is really to bad as our tree is absolutly loaded. Next year though I hope to have a garden. Lol I should blog about the 2 count downs I have right now. Wedding in 9 days and school graduation May 16th. Right now among the three schools there will be 45 of us graduating and that will be more than a 3 of the graduating class. See ya in a few days my dear just the mom or MOB.
