I have some other things I want to post, but this is what ended up on here tonight. The others hopefully will get posted soon!
Tonight I found this--
http://thepioneerwoman.com/blog/2010/09/ten-important-things-ive-learned-about-blogging/
I really liked it.
It expressed my feelings on blogging very well.
Hmmm, then what is my problem?
My blog has gotten so stale I didn't even want to go visit it myself I guess.
Anyway, I hate it that I've gotten so behind again
I can hardly believe it's the end of summer. School started the 17th of Aug, and as far as activity that marks the end of it for me!
Kara's first day of school--starting middle school. The 6th graders went a day ahead of the other grades.
First day of school for Kaela--going in to 4th grade. No, we didn't get the door re-painted this summer :(
We love our school! We've felt so fortunate to be able to choose where to go, and have the opportunity to attend a very small school in the country. This is where we put the kids when we went into public from homeschooling, and it's been wonderful. We're happy we can continue to opt in since we've moved too.
The tabs across the page here at the top are separate pages.
Finland-Sweden trip is a link to my journal blog I kept during my trip there. Farm sweet Farm is pictures of the house, ect that we spent 2 1/2 years in-our first taste of "country living" during our married years. (And are just leaving) This is a work in progress for my scrapbook.
House to Home page is the picture journal of making our "new" house in the West part of the state into our home (On-going current)

I saw that post on PW today too...gave me the kick in the seat I need to update my blog a little more frequently. Often I feel like I don't have anything to say. But...the reason I started it was to just keep a journal of our life so I need to keep it up...and the friendhips I've aquired along the way has been awesome! Just putting a couple of sentences up along with a picture or two. That being said...glad you updated today. ;) Looking forward to being able to continue to peek into your life. I know you've got a million things to do before your trip later. What fun! So sad we didn't get to make it up there this summer, but we WILL be making a trip up there...we've got to many great friends now we need to visit. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love my little knobby kneed sisters...they are so cute and look so little :*P Enjoy school munchkins...I sure would.
ReplyDeleteSigh, I enjoyed reading PW bits of advice on blogging, since I feel I, too have gotten myself in a bind with mine, only big photos, only Zane, what about the other parts of me, etc, to where I hardly know where to go sometimes with it. Blogging is evolving, and unless we are getting paid for writing a certain kind of thing, or a certain kind of people, it should be self-expression, and I better take my own advice, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog Day, to you.
Ahh, THERE you are! I was afraid you'd done kicked the bucket!! :)
ReplyDelete:D darling post, and smiles
ReplyDeleteOHH, those girls look so cute, pure, innocent, and precious------just hope they stay that way!
ReplyDeleteYay for schools we really really love! We think our kids' school is awesome too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read PW's post about blogging yet, but I will in the next couple minutes.
Your girls are so precious with such sweet smiles. I know there teachers are the luckiest out there...for having them as students. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how when I slowed down on blogging(just a bit...I was OK with it), but since this summer when I barely posted...I miss it! I am going to be back at it again, but with balance.
The first days of school were always so great- have enjoyed seeing all the smiling kid pix as the school year starts again. ;)
ReplyDeleteI saw the PW post, too... and agreed, too... and also wonder what's happened to mine. I don't think it hurts, though, to take a break from time to time. I mean- my goal is not to do anything big or great there but simply to have it and be in touch with people... so small breaks aren't the worst thing on earth, right? So think I....
