My girls
Dalayna was trying to get Jessi to give her a last kiss & hug goodbye, & Jessi was so anxious to get in our car that she wasn't wanting to take the time.
awww...almost made me get all teary - they look like they're having fun but I'm sure Dalayna's heart was feeling pretty heavy. Smething about handing your kids over - even when it is to the people who love them more than life it's self. I know y'all are having (had??) a great time though!
Ah...it's so hard for the mommies to say good-bye to their little ones. Your pictures are so sweet. They capture Dalayna's love and Jessi's excitement. You are such a fortunate grandma!
Dear Grammy 'Xine, Mother's are funny things, aren't they? We wish to have a break, we plan happily for our children to go away for a moment, we try to prepare them for the separation and pray they will do well without us, we rejoice over the things we can get done while they are gone... but we get tearful on their departure, miss them terribly, get sad if they seem to be fine without us and hug them tight, promising to never let them go again when they come home...
