HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA DIANE!

Posted by Picasa
May 19, 1981--The years pass so quickly! I was going to add come commentary here about remembering some things, and forgetting some things, but decided to skip that line of thought, as I know good and well that my children who read this would definitely comment on it, and probably not too complimentary to me....SO! Back to Laura's birthday! (Whew my 3 days have passed that I had a 24, 25 & 26 yr. old!)
Laura is #3 in our family. In many families, that would make her the youngest, or at least among the younger ones. In ours it makes her one of the "older" girls! When I was working on getting pictures together to post here, I was definitely having a problem scaling back. I wanted to use most all of them! I found so many of my favorites, and they brought back so many wonderful memories. I wish I had them all scrapbooked, but still working on that one.
Happy Birthday Laura, from each one of us! We're thinking about you, hoping you have a wonderful day and enjoy the memories in pictures! Love and hugs from all

  2. Happy Birthday's to the bunch!! Looks like your stimulus checks will be going to birthday's, anniversary's AND Leon's van (sorry to hear about that, but glad he's o.k!). How is Leon related to Clyde and Viola? Their daughter, Sharon M. is the Sharon from MT that I was referring to. We know her well.:)

  3. Clyde and Leon's dad were 1st. cousins. They've been here to NE to visit quite a few times over the years. I've only met Sharon and Twyla. as far as their family.

  5. O.K...leave it to my kids! I KNEW I'd get in trouble with posting my memories...One of them definitely is Jeanne, not Laura...I'm removing it. Put it on my "home" blog. The other one is debatable! It was also in Laura's album, but It doesn't have any ID on it, and it SURE LOOKS like Laura!!

  6. Oh my goodness, I only have two kids to correct me! You'd better admit to senile dementia now and not take responsibility for anything you do or say. I left Laura a note on her blog but didn't see it later when I checked to make sure I'd really clicked publish. You're doing well to remember what day your kids b'days are.

  7. O.K...I took off the other one too. I honestly cannot tell which one of the girls it is!! It's not dated, and we lived in 3 different houses during the time Laura was a baby, so that doesn't help me either! Two of those we lived in when Lynisha was a baby too...After all, they are only 15 months apart. Can you blame me for not remembering???!
and yes, my kids already think I'm senile, so might as well agree with them, eh??!

  9. Happy Birthday Laura!! Thats the way to go mom. Make the pictures small so you can't really tell who they are if you don't know. LOL. Grandma obviously made good dresses as I see 2 hand me downs from big sisters. Maybe you should go back to making clothes. Love, JR
