Homemade bread & fruit/yogurt smoothies

Since I decided to work on feeding our family a little more healthy, I've been experimenting with some recipe's. Here's today's results, and something a little more colorful than the drab pictures of winter!

Homemade Granola with a drizzle of honey topping the smoothies made a yummy light lunch for me!

  1. You'd better watch all that healthy eating and exercise, you'll have to go buy an entire new wardrobe by Antioch time! =D (and I would be incredibly jealous!)

  2. Oh, and I'm shocked you didn't use a LONGABERGER loaf pan for your bread! Don't you have one?!?!

  8. I love the header. Be-U-ti-ful! I'll have a yogurt smoothie and crusty toast with a side order of blossoms any day. Is the tree in your yard?

  9. Amy- I'd sure love one of these georgus tree's in my yard, but it's just somewhere in town here. I didn't even realize that we had them here till last year, must have been a good year, as there were several we noticed. We try and plant a tree/bush in our yard for Memorial day, so maybe this year I'll see if I can get one of these.
Todays lunch is what you mentioned above, only peach-strawberry instead of banana....come on over :*)

  10. Yummy - if only we had a decent blender. And I don't even have any loaf pans that I know of - I used to, but they sure aren't in my kitchen now. We have a bread machine - which needs more use, ha! Don't sound too domestic do I?!
