The mild coolness of an early spring morning.
The first sight of a shade of green on the tree line made me break into a big smile this morning.
The anticipation of a day at home.
The desire to head outdoors on a brisk walk before starting my work inside.
The feel, sound and sight of spring during my walk.
Even the silly dog running ahead of me.
Opening every window that I could to let spring into the house.
The sound of the birds singing.
The sound of roosters crowing.
The green shoots coming up in the flower beds.
The sound of water running in the creek across the road.
Blue Sky and Sunshine.
The ability to smile.
Seeing my youngest child's report card with another row of straight A's.
Anticipation of a new "era" while totally loving my days here and now, and hating the thought lf leaving them.
That my husband found a new job he is so happy about.
LIFE.
Did I repeat myself?
Did I mention I. LOVE. SPRING?!
me too :)
ReplyDeleteYay for a new post! All curious, though, what is Leon doing and is it nearby? You're not needing to move, are you? It's a beautiful spring week here, too, and I'm just loving it.
ReplyDeleteme too!
ReplyDeleteGlad your shared! We are alike in many ways. We totally like this weather when we dont have to feel captive to our indoor cave.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing a post from a dear blogging friend! I LOVE to catch up on all that is happening with your precious family, and I LOVE that you are at peace with the new season of your life as well.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!!!
Having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that you're moving. Glad we got to see you at that sweet little house! xo
ReplyDeleteIt has been lovely weather this spring. It is generally nicer in March than in April. We shall see if my predictions come true this year. I'm enjoying being outside. I'm glad you posted again, I was just hoping for a new one.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering when you would post again! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for a REAL spring this year - our spring is usually more like this: Winter (through feb-march), Summer (march-april), Winter (april-may), Summer (mid-June).
Dear Auntie,
ReplyDeleteOh, I adore "I love..." lists! Good luck on your new adventures!
Love,
Raimie Lu
I could feel the lightness in your heart while I read this. I love spring, too. I'm pretty sure spring is the essence of life itself.
