Time

I read this the other day:

 http://www.kellehampton.com/2011/11/busybody.html

I thought she said it very well.
I'm kind of tired of the word busy too.
It's life, and the truth of it is,
all of us generally manage to make time for what we want to do the most.

That said, yes; from the first of September to the first of November was one big busy blur.  Not only physically, but especially emotionally.  I don't seem to manage to blog when my mind is too full.
I hate it that I let nearly 4 months go by and have no journal record of our days.

They were special days.  Fast days, slow days, Emotionally tiring days and sweet days. Close at home days and far from home days.  Days with family, days with friends.  Days with travel, Unexpected  happening days, Days of death and days of birth.

It reminds me of some of my favorite Bible verses--"A time for everything under the sun..."

And the sun is down,
It's time for bed,
I didn't get my blog post done.  BUT....I'm here again, I'll be back soon to continue.

  2. Thanks for directing us to her blog. So good to read. I hate the word busy, but sometimes life does get that way. I try hard to make choices so it doesn't get that way too often, but sometimes we have no choice! I have two cousins with DS so I really enjoyed reading her touching birth story.

  3. We can be too busy, I'm learning that something has to give way in order to have what is best. Sometimes it isn't what I want, but that doesn't mean it won't be good.

  4. I will admit...missed you! My heart is a blogger heart, so I guess I always worry that blogging(and the friendships I have built through blogging) will go away. YET...I understand life and all that it is. It sounds like it has been a full little while for you lately.

Thanks for the update my friend!

  5. I commented on this yesterday but it didn't go through so I'll try again. ;) I understand the not blogging when things are a bit "heavy"...it's kind of why I've been in sort of a hiatus myself. I'm glad you popped in though and we'll be right here waiting for more posts. ;)
