More "oldies" for my weekly picture, and I'll finish up with them next week. I was going to do them all this week, but my kids are all gone for 4 days, and I'm trying to accomplish huge amounts of things without them coming along behind me making a mess.
Anyway, here's the start of them.

  4. haha! Darcie, I wasn't raised on a farm either, & my grandparents lived in town. However he was on the edge of town, and he liked to experiment with raising different animals! Along with the chickens which they always had, and this cow, he also at different times had goats & lambs.

  8. These are all special but I really like the one with your little ones with hints of red and the one of your first birthday. How blessed you are...six babies by your 26th birthday... most women today are still trying to figure out what they want to be when they grow up on their 26th birthday.

  12. Great collection of pictures, Maxine. The years go so fast! Those little snapshots of our lives taken before our memories kick in are precious... I can remember being ten, but sitting in a high chair? Can't' remember that. :) I loved these.

  16. I loved the glimpse of your life. I had a steer that I used to ride. It was really hard on me when he became dinner. I wasn't a very good farm girl, because I made pets out of everything and when you live on the farm, pets can become dinner. And the ones that don't, they wound up getting killed on the road or in the field by equipment. It was a dangerous life for farm animals.
