19 of 52--Walk for MS and flashback.

Before anymore time goes past, I need to post the pictures from our WALK FOR MS. This is the 2nd year I've done this, and this year I thought my two youngest girls might enjoy doing it with me, and they did! The walk was held on Apr. 25, should have been a lovely spring day...unfortunately it was a cold & windy day, not very nice for walking, but we bundled up good, & really had a fun time with our team! Before the walk we were treated to doughnuts (more incentive to walk?) hehe, and afterward they fed us pizza!
The first picture is my girls and I.

I've enjoyed seeing some other "flashback" photos. A couple weeks ago I found this picture, and decided that May, with mothers day & the girls birthdays was a good time to post it.
Around 26 years ago...

My sister made these matching nightgowns & caps for my 4 oldest girls. They were soft flannel, and passed down the line of sisters & then back forth with nieces too! Here's a picture of another one of my girls and her cousin wearing them also.

These 2 little girls turn 23 this month, and are all grown up with babies of their own. Emily & Dalayna are both in some of the pictures of my previous "reunion" post. HAPPY BIRTHDAY girls!!

  6. I'm involved in the Relay For Life here in our county. I use to get a team together to walk but it always seemed I was the only one who'd show up so I'd be walking most of the time. I help where I can. The money I donate to the cancer research is all recycled cans. Last year we had over $300. I like to say I'm helping cancer research and keeping the plant clean. :) Great pictures!!

  14. What an inspiring way to spend a morning! I've never walked for anything.

Your little girls in their matching gowns are darling and somehow, timeless! I could imagine those being your little grandkids in the last picture. Do you still have these?

  15. @Amy, yes even tho they've been worn alot, they've never worn out, and I can't seem to get rid of things that have sentiment. I will have to put them on my grandaughters, if nothing else at least for a picture!

  17. Good for you. I love the flipping picture deal you have going. I am diabetic so we always lead a team for diabetes in the fall. It is always a blast...they don't feed us doughnuts, though. I absolutely adore your flashback photos of the family in mathching gowns and hats. Are the granddaughter's wearing those now?
